Flanders Investment & Trade visits VUB Photonics Campus

Last week, an international delegation of Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) paid a visit to the Photonics Campus of Vrije Universiteit Brussel. The visitors got to meet our B-PHOT team and discovered our highly equipped research labs.

In the framework of a tour through all provinces of Flanders, Flanders Investment & Trade stopped in the province of Flemish Brabant to discover innovation opportunities in our region. After an introduction at the 'Provinciehuis' in Leuven, an international delegation headed to Gooik to discover photonics opportunities in healthcare. Around 15 people from Finland, India, Saudi Arabia, France, Belgium and more got a tour at the VUB Photonics Campus by the B-PHOT professors. The representatives met our team and took a look into our photonics labs.
