ACTPHAST delivers Major Impact for SME Innovation in Europe using Advanced Photonics


ACTPHAST, which stands for Access CenTer for PHotonics InnovAtion Solutions and Technology Support, is a unique innovation accelerator which was funded by the European Commission in order to combine the state-of-the-art expertise and technologies of 23 of the leading research institutes in photonics from across Europe (the ACTPHAST Partners), and make them available in a user-friendly one-stop-shop format to any European company – with a particular emphasis on SMEs – for the purposes of collaborating on photonics innovation projects which were subsidized heavily by ACTPHAST on the basis that they would have a substantial impact on the companies’ business growth and the digitization of European industry.
