Robert Pawlus

PhD student

Robert Pawlus is a PhD candidate working on tailoring multi-wavelength emission in semiconductor lasers. He started by following a vocational training as an energy electronics engineer from 2001 till 2004 while simultaneously working as an engineering trainee at the company Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany. He was then hired by the same company as an engineer. In 2008, he decided to go back to studying and earned his university entrance diploma in 2009. He then studied Physics at the Technische Universit├Ąt Darmstadt and received his Master of Science in Physics with a focus on optics in 2016. He then seized the opportunity to pursue a PhD thesis and joined B-PHOT.
